Just recently starting in October, I have had an increased in appetite, thirst, frequent urination, and headaches. I just read somewhere that those are signs of diabetes, as well as slow healing injuries. I had never really paid attention to it, but I have always noticed that my cuts always healed a little slower than everyone else's. I'm kind of freaked out to find out if I have diabetes. It runs in my family and there is a definite possibility that I could have it. Should I get this checked out? What would happen if I just ignored these signs?

I really think you should. Those are pretty clear symptoms. Would it be so bad to know? I mean, you either have it or you don't, and if you do, it's time to make some serious changes. It's better to know.
