We haven't seen you much around here.
Just thinking of you and hope you are ok.

Thanks. That's sweet.
I haven't been on much the past couple of
weeks. I think I had one post last
weekend and that's it.
How are things with you? You must be in
your 2ww now. When is af due?
I am doing alright. I'm nearing my o
date. In fact, it could be today. I'm
not taking opks but I am temping, at least
until tomorrow anyway. Tomorrow is cd 14
and we are going to Italy for a week. I'm
hoping to have a good bd session before we
head to the airport.
I had an HSG on Tuesday. The doctor that
did it said that everything looks normal,
but my RE is going to give it a closer
inspection. It did hurt quite a bit.
It's a sharper pain than mentral cramps
and I found it easier to take shallow
breaths because deep breaths made it hurt
more. The good news is that it is short
and the pain goes away quickly. The worst
part is waiting for the second tube. The
doctor said that the die usually wants to
go toward one tube but they had to check
both tubes. It took about an extra minute
for the die to go through the second tube.
I spotted for about a day afterward.
I got the authorization for the HSG and
for an FSH on Saturday, but the insurance
still managed to irritate me with it.
They pre-dated the authorization to start
two weeks before we got it. It expires on
December 31. If I ovulate tomorrow on CD
14 and have my typical 13 day luteal
phase, my FSH would be scheduled for
Christmas Day (cd 3). If I had known that
I would have been covered two weeks ago,
I'd have had my FSH already. At least we
aren't leaving town for Christmas.
Another positive is that my mil lives
pretty close to the branch of the clinic
that has weekend and holiday hours, so we
can pop in for the FSH on our way to her
house for the holiday.
The authorization also covers a follow-up
consult to talk about our test results.
That consult will have to be sometime
after the FSH results and before the end
of the year. I don't even know if that is
possible.
I've been spending a lot of my time
getting ready for Christmas and our trip.
Part of it is for a conference, so I have
to make sure I'm ready, and the rest is
vacation. I've spent a lot of time
gathering information booking hotels and
figuring out where to go and whether we
need to reserve tours. I haven't even
started packing.
I'm also trying to finish my Christmas
shopping by today, at least for my family.
We are spending the holiday with my dh's
family so my family's gifts have to be
shipped. That means today is the last day
to get them gifts on time.
Our internet was down on Tuesday and
Wednesday, which made it harder to do
anything. It's amazing how dependent
we've become on the internet.
