try aloe vera shampoo and conditioner by forever living. the aloe vera content is the best in the market and it helped control my hair loss too. also, if you do use styling gel and hair spray, try the the ones from forever living because it's all natural, no harmful chemicals on your hair and scalp so it will get enough nutrients.

Wow thats some great advice. I used Progaine for a few years and I did see a little difference but not much. I will have to try this out. It is good to hear that this helped you.

Ouch.. definitely not a good thing to do! Why did you do it 2 times in one day?

The best thing to do for over treated hair is to stop treating it and keep it away from heat, stylers and dryers, and only wash it every few days if you can....every couple if you can't stand it or have a particularly oily scalp. You can get it wet when you shower, just don't shampoo it and "wash" it only with conditioner for dry, over-treated, or damaged hair.

After that comb through it and let it air dry. It should be able to recover in a week or two depending on how bad the damage is. Stylish updos can always hide the flaws while you are waiting it out.

Thank you mominashoe for your extra fast reply! I colored it twice in the same day because the first color was horrible Embarassed and ...I didn't like it! I hope I would never be forced to do it again Very Happy. I will have to buy a bag of hair treatments tomorrow Very Happy . Thanks again

Boost hair growth?
Vitamin E is great for strong hair growth. You can also buy rosemary shampoo from health food stores, its wonderful for promoting healthy hair.

my favorite shampoo and conditioner
Well the brand is not available in the states, nor do I know where to buy online, but they are completely natural so much so that they expire. However, the main ingredients in the shampoo was nettle and the conditioner was myrtle. so look for those. and check a cosmetic safety database to make sure the brand you are using is natural enough..

using these shampoos helped the thin area at the top of my head, it is much fuller now and hair is strong...i don't use a hair dryer ever! or "product" no gels sprays nothing..

i write a lot about the importance of non toxic toiletries.

good luck rainbow
