you don't know who the guy is? You should tell your parents. It is very important. I don't know how things work in Spain but where I live you can go to the doctor on your own. You should tell your parents though because it is better that they go with you to the doctor. Everyone starts to show at different times. I didn't start to show until about six months.. but you can start showing with my experience i haven't seen anyone start showing before 13-14 weeks.. good luck with telling your parents and the rest of your pregnancy.

You should also have yourself checked for STD's. Remember that honesty is the best policy. If you don't tell your parents now, they will find out soon enough. The sooner you get the care and attention you need, the better.

You will not be able to tell that your belly is growing from the baby for a while. Around two to three months, you may start to show, not because of the baby, but because of your bowels. No one will be able to notice you are expecting until you are 5 months along at the earliest, depending on how tall you are, your build, genetics, etc.

Don't be afraid. Once you have it all out in the open and speak to your parents and a doctor, you will feel much better and won't be alone to handle it.

Of course they will. You are their responsibility and now you have put a very great burden on them because they will have to take care of you and your child.

No matter how you look at it, from now on life will be burdened by the fact that you have not been responsible, and were negligent about your own body and slept around: not to mention that you are responsible for what happens to the child that you now bear.

The longer you wait to tell your parents, the harder it will be to tell them later on, and you put yourself and your baby at a big risk by waiting for proper care.

If it's easier, write it down on paper, and tell your parents that way, and you will better be able to explain that you are scared and need support, and you know that you should be punished and have done a serious wrong, but what you also need right now is their love and support to help you get through this. All parents, no matter how strict, love their children and will do what they think is the best for them.

There's no time like the present to start acting like a responsible person. You are in a "grown-up" situation now, so grow up.

OK, she's 14 give her a break. I don't think at 14 I was terribly cognizant of my own health, let alone anyone else's. We all do a lot of growing up, even non-parents, between 14 and 17. It's a huge jump in maturity in many ways.

Marta...I don't know what to say. Tell your parents - or an aunt, or an adult cousin. You NEED a real, live adult, and not some people who, mostly, aren't even a decade older than you on a message board to help. Grandmothers are most girls gifts from God. Are yours alive?

You need to have someone to help care for you and your baby, because you really aren't emotionally equipped to do it all yourself. You wouldn't hide an injury for fear of punishment, and you shouldn't hide this.

I just have to point out that that's not true, you could tell I was pregnant at 16 weeks.

I don't think she's selfish, I think she's acting her age. This is why the worst decision, in my opinion, would be for her or someone like her to have the baby and keep it. How can she possibly raise it? She is still being raised by her parents!

Be responsible and tell your parents. Period. Not much else can be done. Attempting to hide it will only end badly.
