You're male? Well then, you have even less of a right to tell women whether or not they can abort, considering it's not YOUR body.

Who killed your baby? When did you have a baby? I'm sorry to hear that.

It's not yours. Slavery is illegal; you cannot own another human being. That human being is invading the body of another; normally this would be called rape but because it's a fetus suddenly that makes it "ok".

Warp Stop Mr. Sulu!!
Ok. why? what makes being male so special that even though you will never be pregnant you think you should have the ability to control my female uterus?
I"d like exact information here.

Its not like you are a producer; its not like you have ever been pregnant or have the possibility of ever being pregnant.
This has nothing to do with anything but controlling women; something men have done throughout history and a power they have lost in the last centuary; so now men like you seek to control the very essence of women; control our reproductive systems.

This tactic fools no one.

Moderator note;

I have split this topic off and put the gender discussion in the abortion forum. This thread is to discuss 9-11. Thanks.

Abortion effects the male gender. I would not leave them out of the discussion.

I agree. It's a political issue. Not a woman's issue entirely. It becomes a women's issue when you're talking about health.

At least in my opinion. Smile

I don't think it involves men in any way shape or form.

yes is does.. a man is the father.. If the child is born he is forced to take care of it if he wants to or not.. why can't he have a say in what heppends to HIS child!

I think it involves men to the extent that he should have kept his penis in his pants or used a condom.

Those who get the reversal I just did win a cookie Smile

Men help create the problem with their sexual habits.
Men help create policies surrounding reproductive health.
Men can be forced into parenting.
Men can be forced into financial obligations.
Men can be forced into not having a child that they may have wanted.
Males are aborted.
Fathers can be negatively affected by their mates decision to abort. (depression, anger, regret).
Men adhere to religions who do not believe in abortion.
Males create environments where women do not feel uncomfortable having a child, or vice versa.
Males effect their mate's decisions whether or not to continue a pregnancy.
Males are reproductive health professionals.
Males need education about the historical means of controlling women.

Yes, men do not gestate, and ultimately women need to be the decision makers of their pregnancies, but men are entwined within the abortion debate.

In my opinion.
