Hi:

I just had Laparoscopic gallbladder surgery (cholecystectomy) 2 days ago. Felt really rough yesterday, today I feel somewhat better. Haven't been eating much. Some low-fat yogurt and low fat chicken broth. Tonight I'm going to try some steamed organic veggies.

I'm kind of scared to really eat anything beyond what I am. Also I just read on another forum some place that after gb removal you gain a bunch of weight. I lost 26 lbs in 2 months when I was sick and I don't want to gain it back, nor anymore. I probably just the right weight now. Anyone else hear about weight gain due to gb removal surgery? Confused

It has happened to me. I had mine removed 2 years ago, and I have put on 25 lbs. And...it's not coming off.
