Q: compressions of L1, L2, T12...options?.

Went I was injured, ER said I had a minor possible lumbar fracture..
Went to referred workmans comp doctor, said I had 3 Compressions of the L1,L2, T12. In the process of settling and would like a second opinion, but I dont have any insurance to cover a consultation and would like to know what procedures, if any I can have done?

Workmans comp doctor said only time can heal it...

Still in pain, walking or standing for long periods of time causes a tightness in lower back, making breathing difficult. happened in January of this year.

Hello Cookslow,

Yes, I understand that you do not have insurance and your financial concerns. However, far more important is that body of yours.

It would be totally improper for me, and frankly for anyone else here to give "medical advice". You really do need to seek the advice from a neurosurgeon/spine surgeon. Only they can tell you what shuold be done or not done. PLEASE don't delay.

It would seem to me that workman's comp should cover these expenses or at least in part. Sorry, but I would not put much faith in the workman's comp doc. Their job is to keep costs as low as possible.

PLEASE, see a well respected neurosurgeon NOW. Don't delay. Sorry but you have waited far too long already.
