ok i want to know what you guys think i babysit 3 boys from 2:30 p.m-8 to 8:30 p.m. mon thru thursday i pick 1 up from preschool 2 days a week and another from shcool 4 days a week . 1 is in diapers and they are always (sorry tmi diarreah) and i tell her it is also in contract that i do not watch if they are sick or have diarreah but she keeps dropping them off anyway they are always sick (the 2 youngest) which gets my lil ones sick so then i have to miss work at the school cause of my kids being sick and she still drops them off even then saying oh im running late gotta go and off she goes so i cant stop her argh but anyway i charge 2.00 an hour and im thinking oops (per child 2.00 an hour)of raising my rate to 3.00 an hour the first of the year and giving her a note stating the rate change would you guys be upset if your sitter did that??

I think you should give her a notice of at least one month. That way she can budget and plan with Christmas coming.

I would completely agree though, you shouldn't need to watch them when they are sick! You should tell her you charge extra for diarreah diapers! And save them up for her so you can show her when she picks up Wink

How old are the kids? Here for kids in diapers, you are paying about $850 a month. Out of diapers it goes down to around $600. Newborns are over $1000.
