Q: Eye Problem

My girlfriend recently noticed that whenever I close my eyes, my eyes are always moving behind my closed lids.
My eyes can't seem to rest, and I can't make them stop moving.
When I close my eyes, she can see that my eyes aren't still, and they seem to be moving all the time. And now that I know it, I can notice it too.
Has anyone heard this before?

Is this when you are asleep or awake? Your eyes will naturally do that during rem when you are asleep. I'm not sure how to control it if you are awake though.

Extremely eHealthy
If this is while you're awake or trying to go to sleep (& perhaps now that you know about it - stopping you from getting to sleep) then it may be due to stress, or overtiredness, or wanting to deal with things that you haven't done that day etc.

The only way I know of to stop this type is for you to learn to relax, yoga, meditation, pilates, chinese ying/yang balls, worry beads, soft music, relaaxation tape , whatever works for you.

If you are overly stressed/worried/depressed etc you might also look into natural remedies for stress releif/reduction (5htp, sam-e etc).
