Hello everyone,
Thanks to all that read.
For the last few weeks after any meal I eat no matter what I eat my lower abdomen inflates to the size of a balloon and becomes very bouncy. This is strange for me as I am rather slender and I only ever get like this when I over-eat, or am drinking too much caffeine/pop.
I have also noticed that its shaped oddly around the groin area (seems as though there is a small protrusion on both sides, more so on the right than the left..lymph nodes? They're right at the point where groin and leg meet on the front and to the inside of this "line").
I have become somewhat constipated despite my extremely high fibre diet. I drink lots of fluids and nothing has really changed in terms of my eating habits. I have started drinking coffee regularly in the last month, usually black or with a little bit of milk and thought it might be the culprit but even balancing that with more water hasn't helped.
I am a university student on exams at the moment (final term wohoo!) and I have booked a doctors appointment although the earliest I could get from booking 2 weeks ago is next week Monday. I just need some piece of mind because I am surfing forums and stressing myself out rather than focusing on studying.
Some background:
I am 22, on birth control for about 4 years now. My partner and I had a small pregnancy scare last month (broken condom...) although I the normal flow of things kicked in. The constipation started around that time, took a few days of laxatives and then they finally kicked in. I was regular for a while and then in the last week and a half or so the constipation is back. I don't want to take more laxatives or softeners because I don't want to create a dependency.
Any takers on what's going on?
Thanks,
Aliera
