Right, no seriously I think Paige is teething! She's 12 weeks tomorrow and she has rosy cheeks, she's irritated and I swear I can feel 2 little sharp buds either side of her top front teeth to be.

Help! I don't have a clue about teething...

Gosh I can't remember when brayden got his! maybe around 7 months?

Its definately not impossible, my friends baby was born with a tooth already and started getting the other very shortly after!! crazy!

If she is teething just make sure you talk to your doctor about what to do for her, most of the teething gels and such can not be used until the baby is older!

Man this sucks... I can't get hold of my health visitor and now is the first time she's slept since 7 this morning. She just wants to be up and cuddled, she doesn't have a temperature and everythings normal except she's very clingy and rosy cheeked.

Teething gels can only be used starting at 4 months. So only thing i suggest is tylenol and use a gum soother .

Both my kids got their first teeth close to 1 year. I used a homeopathic remedy called Teething Tabs for both of them.

william was 6 months, but was teething for a long time before that. some babies are actually born with teeth, so teething can happen any time

My son was 7 months and my daughter was 13 months (yes I know she was old)
Some babies teeth for awhile before they even cut teeth so definitely anything is possible. Hopefully she doesn't suffer for long Sad

I'm pretty sure she's teething, I don't see my health visitor until the 11th so I'm just comforting her as much as possible. I can definately feel 2 tiny teeth piercing through her gums but they feel along way off. She's not complaining about it whatsoever, she doesn't complain about anything really. She's chewing on her hands and bites my little finger hard but for such a tiny baby she's very advanced and seems to handle discomfort well. I also need to talk to my health visitor about maybe trying her on solids. I breastfed for 2 weeks then had to stop, so she went on SMA Gold formula milk but I would make 6 ounce bottles, she'd drink 4, then want more an hour later or so. Then I was advised to put her on hungry baby milk and she's been on that for about a week now and still no change, she's a little baby at 11 weeks she was 10lb 9oz and so I figure she's around 11lbs now. She's on the 25th centile...I think...and I its not like she's not eating!!

Confusions of a mother!
