Mine's soda like coke, etc. I'm diabetic, so it's probably costing me time to live. I just can't drink that sugar-free crap.

marvel: As smart as you are, you're a smoker? You know better, don't you? I know I don't have any room to talk, but I just hate to see friends kill themselves with nicotine.

Unfortunately, yes. I do know better. I know what cigarettes do to me.

Smoking is the only remnant from the days when I was a severely depressed, self-loathing, emotional, in-the-closet teenager. I'm in the process of weening myself off, but I find it especially hard when I have a lot of change going on (I've lived in 5 different places in three different cities over the past 6 months). Not that it stresses me out (I quite like moving around), but it's nice to have a constant thing to rely on when everything around me is changing, exciting as it is.

It's as much a psychological thing as it is a physical addiction. I'm okay with ditching the physical addiction part... it's the psychology I have a problem with. I have a feeling though, that when I move to Toronto for good, it'll be much easier to kick the habit.

Soda. I drink a 2 liter per night. Could explain why I'm always up so late.
