Q: After Sex Burning Feeling When Urinating

I have had a serious relationship with the same guy for the last four years. Throughout that time both of us have not slept with anyone else. After sex we both have a burning feeling when we go to the toilet. We both urinate the smallest amounts and then feel like you need to go to the toilet again. Go again and urinate the smallest amount again. After a day this feeling goes.

Initially i thought i had a urine infection so i took something for it but the problem still exsists. Then i thought i had given the urine infection to him but he only gets the feeling after sex. If it was a urine infection it would bother him every day wouldn't it?

It sure sounds like a urinary tract infection to me, or an std. Where did you get the medication you took? What was it? I have learned that a doctor has to be the one to perscribe any antibiotics to you. otherwise there could be risk of a lingering infection, where it feels ok for awhile but doesnt go away.

Please see a doctor, there most likely is an infection and you should both be checked just to make sure that way you arent passing it back and forth....

I just got this stuff from the chemist called Ural. You put it in water and drink it. I will organise for us to both go to the doctor though.
