I don't know but it used to happen to me too. tingly fingers, like the fell asleep. i always thought it was really wierd. cool that someone else has it too! I think it might be a circulation thing- are you remembering to breathe and relax during sex?

hyperventilation.
Try taking really deep quick breaths for a full minute, so deep that you need to move your shoulders up and down at a really fast rate. You'll get the same sensation.

Doesn't it happen because all your blood is rushing to your lower region so there's less of it in your hands, causing it to almost "fall asleep"?

No, it's more likely due to hyperventilation. Your actual blood distribution does not change that much.

Personally, I have never experienced this. Could it be you are positioning your fingers a certain way during that time, which cause them to fall asleep?
Just a thought.

Wow...this is really interesting. You experience this too! Do you have a circulation problem? Is that why you think so, or are is it just a personal conclusion?

Why would you think that?

I can see the logic in hyperventilation. We tend to get up there in our breathing pattern when close to an orgasm.
The logic for this definitely exists.

this has happened to me before, at first i thought maybe the way he was on top he was like hitting a nerve, which sounds silly.
Until it happened alot after that my breathing was rapid but i started to blow out but my fingers were still numb. I noticed it happens during my orgasm. Which i now have constantly actually with my fiance.
My head also starts hurting sometimes after. and for some reason sometimes my knees really hurt after...
