Let me tell something about myself first. I am 29, somewhat overweight but i been like that all my life. But I am pretty much active, sports, gym form time to time.
Having some abdominal pain these days (for some 3-4 months now, had some a year early as well but they would come and go, i thought they were probably due to cramping of the muscles), its mostly on the lower left side, around 6-7 inches off the navel. The pain is of the dull kind and achy, its not stabbing or burning.
The pain moves sometimes to far left, groin, pelvis and sometimes even to opposite right side. Most of the times like 90% is on the left side. Earlier this movement was moving regualry in all the places i mentioned. Doctor thought I have prostatitis (infection in prostate), took some antibiotics, the frequent movement of pain stopped but now its concentrated in the left side most of the time. Pain comes and go, at the best i feel very very slight pain.
My urination is normal, only thing unusual about the stools is that they come out crumbled. Also pain seems to increase when I am depressed and fearful. Haveing a CT scan in few days, and a colonoscopy on the 20th. Just waiting and worried about it, just wondering if anyone know or think what it is.

Do you have changed frequency and form of your bowel movements when you're experiencing abdominal pains?
Are abdominal pain and cramping going away after having a bowel movement?
Do you have bloating and gas?

Well, lets see. The frequency is pretty much the same, twice or thrice a day for the bowel movement, and thats pretty much it. The pain becomes better (less pain) after the bowel movement, but that is not the case everytime, sometimes it do get better , sometimes no effect. But when it does get better within an hour or so, it comes to the intensity it was before the bowel movement.
Sometimes it hurts little bit while trying to force bowel movement.
Yes I do have gas and bloating. Infact I was planning to take some medicine for gas as well after I am through this problem. But taking some medicine for this problem, made the gas situation somewhat better but it is still there.

Do you think your symptoms get worse if you don't eat enough healthy foods or after you've eaten a big meal?
Are you suffering from constipation?
Do you feel like you still need to have a bowel movement after you've already had one?
Are you experiencing a strong urge to have a bowel movement?
Did you get your results already?
