i just recently had anal sex with my girlfriend. she is a vigin and i have had sex with one girl my whole life and i was fully protected and secure. she is not ready to have sex yet. so we did the anal sex thing. we did it and i put lotion on my penis to help with the lubrication and stuff. but the next day i start to feel a slight burning sensation on my penis. i looked at all the symtoms for stds and i have not of them. but the burning sensation is there. its been two days now and it still kinda burns slighlty a little. i dont know if its the lotion that i used while we did the anal sex or what.
what should i do, im scared

Did you use a condom during the anal sex? If not the bacteria from the anus could have got into your urethra and caused a urinary tract infection.

But no matter what, if you're hurting you should see a doctor and get it checked out.

I think its the lotion you used as lube. I know with my boyfriend lotion burns his urtethra so he doesnt use it. Lotion can also irritate that sensitive skin. Next time use a water based personal lubricant like KY or WET. I would not use lotion again. Also my boyfriend and I have been having anal sex and he never uses a condom and he has never gotten a urniary tract infection. However, you can give your girlfriend a urinary tract infection if you go from anal sex right to her vagina.

(we do not use condoms anymore because we are in a committed relationship and have already been tested for stds. But please protect yourself, especially during anal sex)

Rosie's got it.

Don't use a lotion for lubrication. Many lotions contain harsh additives that can leave you with a burning sensation on sensitive skin (like the skin on your penis).

Water based lubes are the best.

I Agreed With
Thekind of lotion you used, but I also agreed like whaturmuva stated you may got and infection from the girl feces. After all you where in the wrong place. And you should use a condom if you are going to do such activity.

Just a response to Greenboy: ayatola, you weren't in the wrong place, and you already stated you were protected. If she enjoyed it, and you enjoyed it... you were in the right place.
