Q: Is It Possible?

I need some advice on what to do. I went home over easter weekend to see my boyfriend. We tried to have sex on saturday night but it just didn't work out. He did kinda penetrate me though. I am on cyclessa birth control pills. My period was due on tuesday and it's still not here. Should I be worried? He did use a number of condoms in between trying. I've never missed a period before. My boyfriend tells me i'm worrying too much and that nothing happened. This is my second month of the pills and I called my doctor and she said they were effective (i had problems the month before). If I should get a pregnancy test, how long would I have to wait until the results can be accurate?(seeing how this was 4 days ago). Confused

Wait about 3 more days (week after the incident) to take a test. Maybe stress is makig your period late.. If you want you can buy a pakc of 3 tests and take one today if you want then if it comes out neg take the other 2 in 3 days.

Good luck!

If this is your second month of ever taking bc (or even if this is a new brand that your using) then it's probly just your body still getting used to the change... I seriously wouldn't worry too much about it.

Dont' Stress
Stressing can delay a period. And also, it seems if your period was due tuesday, and you were with your bf on what friday, sat and/or sunday, it seems a bit late in your cycle (provided you're on birth control pills) for you to have to worry about getting pregnant. (you can get pregant for the few days leading up to and during ovulation, but not after - ovulation generally occurs 2 weeks before the first day of your period). Also I second what cherry_pie says, your body could take a bit of an adjustment time to the new pill.

You can get pregnant at any time of the month. It is not as likely at certain times, but still very possible. Anyway, if you were just due tuesday (yesterday) then don't worry. Since you just started the pill two months ago your system is still getting used to it. Give it time and don't stress. If you do not get a period at all, then I would call your doctor and schedule a bloodtest, but until then, don't fret!
