This is the third day now. I get these strange headaches on the left side, mainly my eye and behind it and the pain can shoot through to the back of my head sometimes. They feel like someone is jamming their thumb in my eye, or as if a nerve is being twisted and pulled in my head. They are very painful, but last only seconds. The longest one lasting about a 1 min. They come and go; several in an hour. Before getting these, there were times during the week that I felt a little dizzy. I haven't been awakened by these, but I will get them as soon as I wake up. I don't get dizzy with the headache, but there are times when I just feel like I need to sit down and get my bearings between some of the headaches. I haven't lost my appetite and I have gotten nauseas a couple of time. Muscle aches as well...spontaneous and in different locations. Had some back pain too. Oh, one more thing. I have this odd slight popping sound in my left year; I've had it before without headache or anything. The popping sound happens when I hear moderate loud noise...like a reactionary pop sound.
Male 33

Any ideas from the docs...has anyone had something like this?

Unusual Headaches
I get those weird headaches too,and I'm only 15 years old. Is this strange or what? I'm worried is it a tumor? Will this pain ever go away? I've had these headaches for over 2 years. Crying or Very sad

Bluberries,

Just thought you should know, I did try Excedrin migraine today and it seemed to help. I also had a cup of coffee, which maybe I shouldn't have, because Excedrin has caffeine in it. I was jittery for a while, but the headaches seemed to stop...a small jab once in a while did come, but not like I've been having since friday evening. Also, I should have started when it all started, but I did keep a headache journal. I found that my headaches were spiking around the top of the hour, then I would have about a 30 to 40 minute period of no headaches. I even put a pain scale...which most of them were 10s. That's how I knew the med was helping. When the top of the hour came around, my headaches weren't happening. It took about 30 minutes for the excedrin to kick in. I'm gonna make an appointment with the doctor Monday morning...I hope I can get in there quick and I hope the headaches don't come back in the meantime. Now that the headaches have subsisted I feel achy and exhausted!!!
I'll keep posting back here so that it serves as a sort of journal to help others.
Also, This was day three with the headaches and I tried extra strength tylonal and motrin. Tylonal helped for about less than an hour and motrin did nothing. Excedrin or the coffee did it.
