Hello, I was just wondering if my girl friend is still covered while taking the sugar pills after shes had her period? We had sex on the day of her last sugar pill, she starts her active pill tonight. I pulled out, and she takes her pill's on time(shes been on the pill for almost two years) if it makes any difference. Do we have to make a trip to the pharmacy to get some E.C. ?

YES she is protected. Women are totally protected during the placebo week. You do not need to pull out, she is not pregnant. You do not need EC.
