I am a healthy 25. I had a kidney stone
about 5 years ago. After the first
attack, I had shockwave treatment. They
claimed to have broken up the stone, but 2
weeks later I had an even worse attack.
I was then sent to specialists at uofw in
madison. There I received laser surgery.
This was successful, but I continued to
have off and on pain in the lower abdomen,
and testicle. After many tests I am
tired of professionals not being able to
look me in the eyes, not have any answers,
or give any future hope or suggestions.
I am sick of tests, they are embarrassing,
annoying, and apparently for no reason.
Pain killers mess up my stomach, and
coping with pain has almost become second
nature, as well as caused some depression.
As of this last weekend I have
experienced a kidney spasm, and some
additional pain in the kidney and along
the urinary track. I have done some
research on my own having lost hope in the
specialists. There doesn't seem to be a
lot of info on stones. The is no blood
or irritation yet, I eat healthy and
drink plenty of water. It is all very
frustrating. I guess my questions are,
does anyone have an answer to the post
surgery pain, is the spasm from another
stone, or is this chronic pain I should
just get use to and expect complications
in the future? I'm sorry, but does
anyone have any freaking answers, or know
where I can find some.
