Help me! I'm going mad! Mika's just started teething and in true Mika stile she's not doing things by halves, not one not two but FOUR teeth are coming Shocked At first i thought i got it wrong so i got my mum to tlook and she said she can see 3 but feel four and when my sister came up she said she can see all four. So it looks like she's getting all four of her top teeth in one go. Needless to say i was up every half hour last night with a screaming Mika.
I've used calpol, teething gel, teething rings and teething biscuits but nothing seems to be helping her. My poor bubba i guess i'm just going to have to let nature take it's course

Teeth are a pain....literally. We have baby ambesol here, which I assume is similar to the Calpol. Keep on with the cool teething rings and a cold washcloth is great too.

Luckily once the teeth pop out they feel so much better.

Wow to her getting 4 teeth at once. I don't envy you. Not only is she feeling ucky, she is probably going to bite you when you nurse. Good luck

I'm really not looking forward to them coming through properly because of breastfeeding, i'm just hoping she's going to be nice to me and not bite because she can't go onto bottles because i'm allergic to the sterilising solution. I'm hoping they don't linger and pop out as quickly as possible so that she's happier

Aww poor Meeks!

If you have to put her onto a bottle, get a microwave steam one. No need to sterilising solution then!

I'm hoping it will work out easier in the long run to have her get four in one go rather then have four separate occassions of feeling unwell. I refuse to put her on a bottle, i'll fight my hardest to keep her breastfed before i give in plus she hates bottles with a passion so i doubt she would be too pleased about it if i did switch her

good for you, dont listen to what others say, make up your own mind (not being mean to anyone here, more about people at the store etc, who always seem to have an opinion)

i obviously cant see her mouth but dont get too hung up on 4 teeth though, for the last 2 monthes its looked like 8 teeth are comming in but so far shes only got the 2 bottom ones...everyone one is surprised she doesnt have more because it looks so much like they are right there
