Extremely eHealthy
If you start having a lot of cramping you should probably go to the hospital for a check. Many women have a bit of bleeding early on. I wouldn't exactly say it's common, but it isn't unheard of either.
Good luck to you Brittnie

As long as it is a little bit of brown blood .. with no cramping its alright.
Brown blood is Old blood... and it could be blood held up there from implantation that finally made its way out.

Now if it starts turning pink, and/or accompanied by cramps.. then call your doctor or go to the doctors.

Good luck

Actually
the same thing happened to me and I have a perfect healthy boy. Every body is differ. I know the literature says that bleeding and spotting is of concern, I do think that some of that is exagerrated to a degree, what happens for some people might not be the same in your case. Everyones body is differ and unique. There could be another explanation that could account for the bleeding.
