Self-injury is fairly common among teens your age. SI can be due to feelings of guilt which is a typical manifestation during times of depression. Self-injuring is a serious mental issue because it can be transformed into suicidal thoughts and acts. You can ask for expert help from a psychiatrist or mental health doctor who specializes in self-injury, or consult your school counselor to ask for help and treatment options.
