carsick feeling before grand mal seizure Posted: 12-01-07 01:40am
I was 10yrs old when I had my first
seizure(grand mal). I stayed home sick. I
don't remember how I was feeling exactly
since it was so long ago. Believe I was on
medication for a year or so then got off.
Then when I was 17yrs old I was in Reno in
a hotel room with my younger brother and
it was like maybe 2am. Dont remember the
exact time but it was really late and I
was kind of tired. All the sudden I felt
really weird and felt car sick and all the
sudden I was passed out and had another
grand mal seizure which then was diagosed
with epilepsy since I now had more than 1
seizure. I was wondering if anyone that
has epilepsy ever felt car sick before
having a seizure? And if you've had any
other symptoms before having a seizure. I
was then put back on medication after
having that 2nd seizure and was on it for
like a year and stopped taking it. Then
when I was 19yrs old I had one in the
movie theatre. I was watching jar head and
ive heard that flashing lights can trigger
seizures but im not quite sure. But I
remember having to go to the bathroom but
tried to hold it out until the end of the
movie and I never had any symptoms that I
remember before having this 3rd seizure
which was grand mal again during the
movie.
