Palpitations, Numbness, Lightheadedness. Virus? Bacteria? Thanks

I'm a 22 year old male in very good physical condition. I eat healthily, exercise, and don't drink/smoke/drugs, and have had a very relaxed last couple of months untill this happened:

Stupidly I gave myself a tap water enema. 2 days later I notice some infrequent but obvious misfiring heartbeats (Part of my heart was beating when it shouldn't have been). Later they where partnered with some serious lightheadedness and dizziness. This nearly always occurred in at nighttime before bed and in the afternoon.

The palpitations got continuously more frequent, and after a week they where happening very close together (but still usually only at night) . At this point I went into the doctor and they did the many tests usually associated with heart problems. They ALL came back negative. They laughed and dismissed the idea that a virus or bacteria contracted from the tap water enema could have been the cause. I have no doubt that it was, to dismiss it as coincidence seems foolish to me.

Now, two weeks later, the palpitations have died down to very infrequent (maybe a couple of noticeable ones a day?), but I have started getting severe numbness in my left arm and left chest area, especially at night before I go to bed, while I'm in bed, and when I wake up. I'm also very lightheaded throughout the day, and a bit of full body numbness.

Has anyone else heard of/experienced something similar? What water borne virus or bacteria could be causing this?

Thanks everyone!

Palpitations

I was on a course of anti-biotics for about a week in order to try to balance out my intestinal bacteria. At that time- about a year back I was having and still have recurrent bouts of diarrhea. I doctor diagnosed me with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. As such medical literature does not co-relate IBS with bacterial counts or types in the intestines but I am pretty convinced in my case it is. After every course of antibiotics I have had (dont know the exact types) my diarrhea or soft movements become solid and I feel 'relieved' after using the toilet. I know this may meander but please stick with it... About a year ago while I was on a week long stint of antibiotics I was also drinking a mixture of carrot juice and tomato juice. This was giving me very clean movements... After a few months of keeping this up - I drank some dairy product and my bowel movements returned to their previous undesirable state. I also began to have some major palpitations that occurred through the day and especially at night while laying down. I have discovered that by drinking a mix of carrot and tomato juice the palpitations would decrease as well as at times laying on my back or on my stomach when trying to sleep.
I recommend that you drink a mix of these juices and also consider pommegranate juice as well. I have a bit of luck and when I use these I can begin to feel like the normal person I was. These palpitations have nothing to do with fatigue, lack of water, anxiety or the like. I think it is some sort of bacteria that is inhibiting the flow of Potassium, Magnesium or other mineral that the heart needs to function. Stop drinking all tea and coffee because these also interfere with mineral exchange in the intestines. If you find out anything please, please let me know... My situation is episodic and sometimes when the palpitations return they come for a week at a time or longer as the juices take time to have an effect.
