Im having high blood pressure due to high level of cholestrol,
my doctor advised me to lose weight(me being 95 kgs at the age of 22) and precribed me tenormin(50 mg) once a day.
Also we have a family tendency towards high blood pressure as my mom n dad both have high BP.
I was able to cut down my weight to 85 kgs and was feeling fine but i just showed some laziness for a month n m having my levels high again though im taking my medicine regurly but my weight again grew to 93kgs.
i wanted to ask should i use any medicine to cut off my cholestrol level or just keep on balancing my diet n lose weight???? that is hard beacuse im a musician and have to be at my work for several hours means no physical activity

Peace!

Tenormin is indicated in the management of hypertension.
Did your doctor prescribe also drugs for high cholesterol?
Have you been told to make changes in you lifestyle for 3,than 6 months before prescribing therapy for hypertension?

Well he dint prescribed any of these cholestrol lowering medicines due to the factor that i may get use to it as im too young and my cholestrol level was about 200 a few months back.
So he advised me to lose more weight and eat healthy.
Yeah i had been told that.
