Not necessarily. Does it smell badly? It should look remarkebly like snot. Actually, a cross between snot and smushed up jello. The color can be greenish or yellowish with a tint of blood stains in it. Gross, I know. Mine came out in a giant clump that was the grossest thing I have ever seen. It was like I got slimed and it was stringy and just... ick! I probably had at least 2 cups of mucous plug all in globs.

Mine was clearish yellow (looked just like snot) and had some chunks in it as well. It was pretty gross. I lost lots of it several weeks ago, but no sign of labor yet for me...

Mines was greenish white and came out in globs over the span of 5 weeks.

I don't think mine even came out till after my water broke. Then I just had bloody goopy crap.

i dontthink i lost my plug with jordynne at all, with joseph it was more of bloody show then any snot lookin thing, it looked like just blood. SO needless to say i spent 5 useless hours in thehospital lol for them to tell me it was my plug.
