This is my second month on birth control. The first month I got my period almost a whole week before the placebo pills (around the time when I would have started my period before I was on birth control). My period then lasted a full two weeks. This time my period has appeared to have started 6 days early once again.
Is this normal? What's going on?

That is normal. Birth control doesn't always immediately hijack your period. Give it a full three months to control your body.
