My mom's got me all paranoid that Jayden is actually going to be a boy. What are the chances that the one ultrasound I got was wrong?

If it's a good ultrasound it's pretty obvious what it is. When did you have the ultrasound. If it's a boy you can see the balls and penis. If it's a girl you can see the slit.

I was... uhm, let me count them. 20 weeks and 5 days when they told me the sex. And the ultrasound guy himself said he was "pretty sure" she's a girl... but now that I think about it, that's not too reassuring :/

Yikes.. I'd say if the doc said he's "pretty sure" it's a girl, then there might be a "pretty good" chance he could be wrong! I hope he's not for your sake lol, but there's always a chance!

A friend of mine was told all the way through her pregnancy that she was having a boy.. Little baby was born & SURPRISE! It was a girl!

I don't think they can say they are 100% sure either way because of technical stuff. They can only say they *think* it's a boy/girl

Yes, I have a picture, but I can't tell anything is there XD And I don't know if it was a doctor or a technician, it wasn't my doctor if it was a dr. And my fiance's friend was told it was a girl at all THREE ultrasounds, and she had a boy, so now I'm like, well crap!

It's just the 2d, our insurance doesn't cover the 3d/4d ultrasounds. Plus I think they're creepy, so I didn't want to pay extra for them XD

I love them... I have two that are my favorites from the 20wk scan, one that's her profile and one that's her full body and you can make out her spine and body perfectly. They're amazing <3

I think after 20 weeks, the chances for a mistake go down...at lot of the time, women will have had their big u/s earlier (around 17 or 18 weeks, and the results may be more ambiguous). If the tech got a clear view of the gender bits, it's probably pretty high odds the gender is right.

Post the pics of her bits. I want to see if I can see it.
My dr. told me that he would quit his job if Ava came out a boy, that's how sure he was.

That was the only ultrasound I got. I got one in the veeeeeery beginning, but that was before we could find out the sex. And then the 2nd ultrasound was the one at 20 weeks.

The person who did my scan with Jay said it like "Its a boy" which sounded like she was certain to me. I was 20 weeks. Ive got some pictures but I dont think any show his boy bits, I'll have to look now! lol

The guy who did my scan said "See those three lines? Those look like a girl to me!" And I said Yay! (because I was hoping for a girl) and he said "Well this isn't 100%, but I'm pretty sure it's a girl."

And I can't find the scan. I found the profile and the spine one from the 20 wk scan, and the frontal face view from the 13 wk scan, but no girly bits! I think they're in the garage in my scrap booking stuff, but I don't want to fight the dust to get them tonight.
