I am 27 years old and have been on BC for 10 years. Decided to get off of it for a while....well when I did my period became irregular. I have been off of BC for three months now. I went to the doctor to have a blood test done to see if I was pregnant and it came back negative. So he put me on Provera to start my period. After taking it I have waited 4-5 days to start. Still nothing. Could I be pregnant? Or could it just be that my body is a little messed up? I am about to go out and buy a HPT to take tomorrow morning. And was told if I do not start by Friday to come in and my doctor will do another blood test.

Its Most Likely Just the Bc
I was only on the pill for a month and a half and when i went off of it, i got my period, then it took me a little over 3 months to finally get another period again. I too went to the doctor and had test done but everything was fine. Just all depends on your body and when you stop taking it. good luck to you
