Q: Ovulation Due But Have Started Spotting?

I usually ovulate around d14-15. I started spotting ever so slightly on day13 but with ew cm. This has been going on and off for 2 days now but is more like brown discharge (yuck). Again, it's so light that I dont need to use anything. Can anyone please yell me what this means. I've never had spotting between cycles before. I have been on Ovulex for 3 months.

Thank you Confused

I came here looking for the exactly same answer to your question. I too ovulate on day 14-15 and yesterday on cycle day 13 I started spotting and this has never happened before. On many sites it says this can be a sign if HIGH fertility, the egg breaking lose or the rise of oestrogen to release the egg also causes some lining to be expelled. All in all it sounds like a good sign to me, nothing to worry about, but a great sign in you are TTC. I'm no expert, but that's what I have found out looking online, hope it helps.

Thanks you for your help. Like you, this has never happened to me before. Fingers crossed x. I'm still waiting for my day to come. I'm on day 25 now but dont really feel any different apart my my chest is so sore. This happenens every month though. It's a PMT sign rather than the other unfortunately. My chest is always really sensetive after ovulation - probably starts around dy18 and is sore until my cycle begins again. Would this still be the case if conception had taken place or would it only be sensetive when I am actually late? Razz Razz
