Q: Night Sweats, Nightmares, and heartburn

I am 25 year old male and I consider myself to be in relatively good shape. I am 5'10 and weigh 210 pounds, I lift 4 times a week and run the same amount.

I have been suffering from severe bouts of night sweats for the past week, accompanied by nightmares. I have always been a heavy sweater, and night sweats plagued me earlier in my life. However, it has been a long while since Ive had them and now they have come back with a ferocity. The nightmares seem to be a new addition as well. I have also noticed that my sexual drive has decreased quite a bit in the past 2 years. Im not entirely sure if this is just due to aging, or a symptom of some other ailment.

I have also noticed an increase in heart burn-eque chest pains. They usually occur about once a week and last longer than I can ever remember heart burn lasting.

Thanks for any input you can provide. Ive been pretty concerned about my health as Ive not had a physical in over 3 years. Thanks for the help!

Extremely eHealthy
Nightmares, like other sleep disorders sleepwalking and sleep apnea can cause night sweats.
Do you take care of taking enough glasses of water?
Do you usually take part in heavy physical activity before going to bed?
Are you consuming spicy foods and hot beverages at night?
