I'm really running out of ideas on how I can find my cat. I have dreams quite often of finding him and I just can't get the poor little guy out of my head. I miss him beyond words. I'm desperate to find him, and I'm thinking of turning to a psychic. I'm not sure I've ever really believed in these kind of things, or not. I have no experience with this, and I'm wondering if any of you have been to one, or whatnot. I appreciate any input you have to offer.

I personally think they're all crackpots who are really just in it for the money, but really, what's the harm? I wouldn't put too much stock into the "reading" but there's always a chacne. And maybe they get this type of thing all the time and know where cats would like hide or something.
I want to cry for your little guy, Mandi. Kids and animals, my SERIOUS soft spots.

"True psychics"? I guess you're a believer, then?

Get a hold of your local police dept... they may have some that they call... or they can contact another dept for help.. the police use them sometimes to solve crimes and the ones they use have a better reputation than trying to find one through the phone book... there is always Ace Ventura....

Thanks for all the replies. I just found some that are free and "guarantee" results.

Erick, I thought about trying to find one of those kinds....DH is watching a program right now that uses the psychics to help the FBI with solving crimes.

Nat, that's the same as me. Kids and animals. I miss my kitten.

So maybe I'll contact all these free ones and compare the things they say. I wish they could pinpoint his whereabouts.

And he is not micro-chipped. But he will be as soon as he comes home (I refuse to believe he's gone for good)

My kitty ran away for 3 days when I was in 8th grade (so like 3 years ago?). It was AWFUL. 'cept she's dumb and was acutally just stuck in our neighbor's garage. *sigh*
Good luck, Mandi. I've got my fingers (and toes!) crossed for you!

Nat, he's been missing since September 24th. He went to his new home less than 24 hours before that.

Awww...that's terrible. Maybe he has a new family? That is what our one cat does...he lives with us and he's always been ours, but he visits another family. They feed him too. He's such a mooch.

I've had him since he was 8 weeks old, and now he's almost 10 years old. We gave him a new home because at the time we both had 2 jobs and he wasn't getting the attention he deserved. We've only been here for a little over 2 years (same town, different house) and he's only been going outside since this past spring. So we were hoping he'd come home. We've not seen him anywhere around. The lady lived like 10 or 15 minutes from here.
I sometimes wonder if someone did take him in, but he's not a cat that likes just anyone. So I don't know if he let someone pick him up or he wandered into someones house. I am completely clueless. Sad

We've got flyers up all over town, I've got ads out online we've gone door to door and we check the humane society at *least* once a week.

I've "lost" my cat a few times. He hates when we move, and he always finds a very narrow spot, and hides. I go running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, and a few hours later, we "find" him lol

I hope you find him in good health, Mandi.

I lost my cat Scorpio in 1997 . He ran away because we moved and left him alone in the new house and thought we abandoned him. I still think about him and i still feel sad . That was 10 yrs ago! I hope you find him Smile
