ok i dont know what this is, and i'm hoping its neither herpes or hpv

around thursday last week i noticed a soft red bump about half the size of a pencil eraser, its about 1 inch away from my anus, and almost 2 inches away from my vagina. its perfectly round, soft and tender to touch, but does not hurt at all.

i've thought everything from herpes, to genital wart, to pimple, to ingrown hair.

its been just over 5 days and it hasnt opened or weeped, nor has it gone away, its still the same. so i tried to pop it, or drain it of fluid...or something. poking it seemed to irritate it and it got red but did not change. nothing drained, nothing scabbed.

i had also a yeast infection (or bact. infection) on saturday...2 days later...but that went away with treatment quickly.

so i dont know what the bump is! i'm panicking that its an std but i'm at a loss as to what. i'm telling myself that its not herpes because it hasnt opened or pussed or scabbed or weeped in over 5 days, and i have no other symptoms and am in a monogamous relationship with someone who doesnt have herpes. i'm also trying to tell mysel its not a wart either because its not whitish or hard, and its by itself. though my partner does have a wide variety of hand warts...maybe he gave it to me?

i've heard of groin cysts, i dont know if thats it either.
anyways, i dont really have time to make it to a doctors office lately, i work 2 jobs. if ANYOne can help me out i'd really appreciate it. i keep waiting for this thing to go away...or change...but nothing, and i'm scared.

Coming from someone who has genital warts. That is what it sounds like.Usually genital warts are painless.I remember I had just only one and I went to the doctor and that's what it was.You need to make time and see your doctor.Your doctor can tell you what it is just by looking at it.

I have herpes and it is not a sore. The sore would pop, drain and scap on its own. Dont worry yourself about herpes. But I am not sure what it could be. I had something similiar. It stayed for like 2 months. It was just like a small growth of skin. No bigger than a half a pencil eraser. It didnt hurt or look like anything. It eventually went away. Maybe its just a skin growth
