Q: How Old Were You?

How old were you when you were diagnosed with MS?

I was at a young 24 and it was the worse day in my life Sad

Although now I'm copying with it but it took some time. Before I thought only old people get illnesses like this.

Anyhow, now I'm happy again!

It Gets Worse!
I'll be 50 years old in March. I was diagnosed in 1991 at the age of 33. Since I began writing articles for the internet I can date my symptoms back to at least 1980. But when you're 22 and you think you're Superman you find excuses for the things that are happening to your body! I'm now considered secondary progressive and in 2007 my MS has taken my walking. But life goes on so keep smiling! Jonny W.

dx at 17
I was diagnosed at 17, 5 months after my oldest son was born. It will be 22 years in April, and I feel great!! I have been taking better care of myself, avoiding stress, taking vitamins, drinking more water and excercising. I have since dx, had 2 more children, gone to school for nursing, gotten married had a third child and gone through divorce. Almost, still working on it. After that, I plan to continue my education in nursing.

Hi guys. I'm getting through the same situation. My girlfriend has the disease and it was diagnosed last year. She is 30 years old.

We certainly want to have a support group, we really want to learn about your experiences.

Regards from Costa Rica.
