a mate of mine who also has epilepsy has
had it since he was 12 i think maybe 11, i
dunno. anyway he hadn't had a fitt for
3yrs and started to learn how to drive, he
had a fitt 2 weeks before his driving
test, he said he knew it was a one off
because he knew the reason for having it
and continued to have his lessons then
failed his test, and then stopped driving
then gave the liencse back about 7months
after his test cos he's so forgetfull!
saying that he had a fitt, what would
happen if the driving place found out
about him having his test after his fitt?
thanks

I had epilepsy, thanks to brain surgery
its gone. I had my license taken from me.
Its a criminal offence to drive whilst
having uncontrollable epilepsy. Every year
for the rest of my life I have to get a
neurologist to say I'm fit to drive. It's
never a one off thing, no matter what
your mate says. It will come back
