I've just come back from holday from
florida, although not a relaxing holiday,
very enjoyable. (living in england)
i've returned to work today worried about
the things that are happening to me, i've
read the forum and it seems I have similar
symtoms as icepick headaches. I've had
the for around 6 months on and off, maybe
once every 2 weeks, the sharp pain lasts
for approx 3 seconds at around 3 minute
intervals for around 30 mins (hope that
makes sense) I may get these sessions 3
times a day, I do suffer from the
occasional migraines, real bad ones where
I have to bed myself to get rid of them,
these have also increased over the past 6
months.
The main worrying factor is that these
pains have gotten worse over time as has
my memory loss... I have short term
memory lose, one particular occasion, my
daughter asked me for a bowl of cereal, I
went to pour the cereal, found there was
no clean spoons, washed up all the pots
and cutlery, turned and walked out of the
kitchen forgetting the cereal, only when I
looked at her and thought gosh cereal!!,
she didn't have to say anything just
looking at her reminded me of the original
job I was inteneding to do.... Work is
also suffering, I work with computers and
I support a site of 100 people, users call
me and say they have a problem, I put the
phone down finish what I was origianl
doing and totally forget about that
call...... Another example is that I love
rollercoaster rides, I went on quite a few
in florida and people are asking me, did
you go on kracken or dueling dragons I
said, think so, I couldn't picture or
remember what they were called...
Not sure whether this counts suckers term
memory loss or just plain lack of
concerntration but it's happening more and
more.
As i'm typing this i'm expereicing these
sharp pains, i'm under no stress at home
or at work or else I would put it down to
that.....
Please help to re-assure me that these are
common everyday symptoms, hopefully you
can but if I need to speak with a doctor
then so be it tell me, i'm worried for
myself as well as my family.
Regards
