Q: Maybe My Kidneys?

Hi I am new to this. Just seeing what you all think. Since sunday I have been having this pain in my back right above my butt. I believe it could be my kidneys but I am not sure. It moved from my right side to my left side now. So I have been drinking alot of water and cranberry juice to see if that helps before I go to the doctor, which I hate to do. I have had some relief but last night I had intercourse and started bleeding which I shouldn't be at all right now. Do you think it has something to do with my other problem? And do you think it is my kidneys bothering me. When I woke up this morning I had no more bleeding. What should I do?

The same thing happened to me. I had kidney stones and didn't know it. I hated the doctor too, but u need to go. I had the blood thing too, I was peeing blood as well. It could also be a urinary tract infection, which can only be cured with antibiotics. You are doing the right thing though, that's what the docs told me to do, was drink cranberry juice and a ton of water, it helps. Good luck

Just a thought about kidney stones...The pain is usually kept to one side...I have had three kidney stone attacks and they all had pain on only one side...

I would still see a doctor though...
Hope you feel better,

Same Problem
I am having a similar problem...My lower back has been a little sore by my sides....It doesnt hurt bad or anything, but it still feels kinda sore...I have a lot of back problems and I dont know if this is just one more minor back ache, or if it may have something to do with my kidneys. I have never had kindney problems, I am 17, and I don't have any other symptoms of a kidney infection. The only symptom I have of a kidney infection is the soreness in my lower back. I also hate going to the doctor and I want to see if there is any chance it is just back pain.
