Q: Rapid Growth In Adults?

I would like to know if there is such disorder as abnormal excretion of GH that can appear any time in life in adults due to some factors (and which?) that can cause them to start growing rapidly, or relatively rapidly.
For example, that a 25 y/o, or 37y/o person, say of 5'1", grows to for example 5'10" in one year, two years or three years.
I'd appreciate any info on it, or a link where I can find more information about it, if there is any.

thanks
