Do girls turn you on? Do you think about girls or guys when you masturbate? Do you even masturbate? Are you attracted to guys physically, sexually or emotionally?

Ask yourself a few practical questions and I think you'll answer your own question.

It is normal for young (teenaged) guys to get an erection in any situation that involves sexuality whatsoever, because their hormones are all out of whack.

If you are attracted to girls... and you genuinely want to be with a girl... then you're not gay. THere's nothing wrong with getting an erection in the same room with a guy... there's nothing wrong with being gay either!

It probably doesn't mean anything- young guys especially get erections all the time for no good reason.

Plus, lots of women watch lesbian porn and get really turned on (myself included) and aren't lesbians.

I used to have a fear of getting an erection in the boys changing rooms.
The more I worried the more my penis got harder, it wasnt a sexuality issue, it was my body playing a tick on me!
My solution was to give it everything when playing the sport in question. By the time I got back to the changing rooms I was so tired that my private parts were the least of my worries!
Try that!

Don't listen to this guy, please. He's misleading you. What you're experiencing is normal.

How about this, who you have sex with is a choice, who you fall in love with isn't.

I'd say go with what the user Haunted had to say.

Wow, what a bold statement, But not that off. Being "gay" or otherwise attracted to the same sex as your self is a complex process of emotional and mental associations. some men have no "feelings" for other men but like the idea of sex with a penis, some men have romantic feeling for other men, it's just how the associations have developed through the senses and memory.

also, all humans are some what Bisexual as the latest studies are "proving". They are now discovering that there is a spectrum (the idea also being around sense the 70's I believe) of human sexual orientation. This spectrum fluctuates or continually develops throughout a persons life. On one end you have "full-blown" homosexuality, and on the other, heterosexuality. Most people as they find fall some were in between "BI" and Hetero. Not only this, it is common for some one younger (as in still having a gym class) to have dreams or fantasies involving members of the same sex, it is generally never about being "gay" or "bi" though. The idea of sexually dominating another man might be a "status" in the "group" thing or a dream about having sex with a "dude" might be about sexually understanding yourself, as you are a "dude".

Human sexuality is very complex, and you still seem very young to even reach the tip of this iceberg. As mentioned before, how do you feel about other males romantically? You may have fantasied about them but this generally means nothing. In a romantic, as in willing to date or have sex with "agreeably", how do you feel?

This will more then likely answer your questions.

I used to get 2-3 erections in some math classes, I'm sure the cheerleaders helped but as mentioned they happen allot and for no reason when your young.

Also, as "lesbian porn" was mentioned, in the book "my secret garden" which was a study on female sexuality, it was found that around 75% of them had fantasies about being with another women. the "odd' (to some one uneducated in this area) was most of them had steady relationships and all claimed to be straight.

fact of the matter is, through noticeable differences in the biological anthropology of the human females, in most cases the womens "place" was a more "socially" dominated domain. Women also as studies point out can sense authentic or fained interest, detect lies easier and communicate/read body language better. Women are also said to be in touch or naturally more dominated through emotions and emotional stimulation then the male "logical" mind. I can rightfully agree as I "one night stand" often and use "emotionally stimulating" techniques to arouse "initial interest" in a female that I intend to "pick up".

So my other question is, are you close to the guys in your locker room? maybe the familiarity and comradery of your "crew" and the randomness of adolescent erections just "made things happen".

I really hope you're joking, because this is really the most ignorant comment I have ever heard.

You don't get to choose what you're sexually attracted to; you can't control your feelings. Seeing as heterosexuality is the mainstream sexuality in society and homosexuality isn't, homosexuals will always be at a higher risk of descrimination than heterosexuals, so why would anyone choose to be gay? So they can be descriminated against and have a harder life? That just wouldn't make sense.

People are gay because they are physically, sexually and emotionally attracted to the same sex. They can't help their attraction. It is something that they have no control over.

From what you're saying, I gather that you chose to be heterosexual? That one day you just said to yourself "I think I'm going to like girls!" Would that be right?

Besides, what evidence do you have that being gay is a choice? All research and scientific evidence disproves your theory anyway.

Do you choose to be attracted to white girls as opposed to asian girls?

To me that's exactly the same as saying "do you choose to be attracted to men as opposed to women". You don't. It's just a reaction you have.
