hi everyone. about a month ago i had an epididymis infection in my left testicle and i went to the hospital since i had no idea what the sudden pain was.

i took antibiotics for 10 days, twice daily and also painkillers

its been about 3 or 4 weeks now and there's been pain in my left testicle again. it's nothing as painful as when it was infected, but it is a very annoying pain that comes and goes.

the pain is very similar to the pain i had when it was first infected for the first 1 or 2 hours but this time the pain hasn't increased. once in awhile my right testicle will hurt also.

i did miss taking two antibiotics during those 10 days if that has any effect.

my mom is a nurse and she says dont worry about it but we did schedule an appointment with a certain type of doctor.. starts with a u.. sounds like urinary or something. but that's in January when i'm home from school.

should i be worried about this pain?

thanks for reading this

you booked an appointment with the urologist.

If it persists, go back to your doctor. Soetimes antibiotics might not get rid of the infection.

It might also just be your epididymis 'recovering'.

Your urologist will be able to pinpoint the problem and suggest a course of action.
