So sat, my bf and i were having intercourse and we were using a new brand of condom. This one dryed me out reallly bad, to the point where it hurt, so we switched to a new condom and it was better. When i woke up yesterday i was having cramps (the birth control im on doesnt give me a period, so i havnt had cramps since before i was on it) so thats alittle strange and when i went into the bathroom i notied my vagina is really swollen, to the point where if i wanted to put my finger in i couldnt. Im still having the cramps and not sure why.. I know its probably from not enough lube.. Anyone ever had this happen, or have any sugestions?

Was he going harder/faster than usual? He could have poked you in the wrong spot, thus giving you cramps. Being swollen is most likely due to the lack of lubrication.

That may be a good reason, too. If you aren't used to having him inside of you for that long, it might have caused it. This is a stupid analogy, but imagine hitting your arm on something. The more times it is hit/harder it is hit/longer amount of time it is hit, the worse of a bruise you get. Not that you are bruised, but same concept. I think lube would definitely help though, or switching back to the condoms that worked for you before. Without tons of friction it would probably be a lot less harsh on your body.

What Do You Think?
So its been 2 weeks, and im not swollen anymore, im still having the cramps, its not as bad as it was though, and it will start hurting more if i push even alittle on, i dont remember what to call it, below your belly button, but not quite to your pubic area. Im not sure if i should go to the dr, or if i should just wait..

I think you should go get checked out just to be careful. If the pain lasts this long then you could have an infection. 2 Weeks is a long time. I am glad to hear that the swelling went down, I know how annoying and uncomfortable that is.

Maybe you had an allergic reaction to the condom, plus friction and no lube.
