Q: High Lead Levels

I am asking if there is anyone out there that has dealt with Lead poisoning in adults? My husband is about to see an environmental toxicologist. Te last blood test that was done showed that his lead levels were 38 micrograms per deciliter of blood. His body is not dumping lead into urine, it isn't going anywhere. What are the right questions to ask the doctor when we see them at his appointment? I want to be informed, but not make the doctor standoffish. This seems to be a medical problem without answers. Please help.
