Ok first of all i did not come here to be judged, but then everyone has their opinion, here is my story- in the middle of september i cheated on my boyfriend it was a very big mistake and i got pregnant, i told him the truth about the one night stand the very next day and i also told him when i found out i was pregnant and he supported me through the full abortion process that i had to do. it was the worst thing imaginable in the world. i got my abortion on the 27th of september. after that i bleed for about 2 days but its was really spotting to be honest. i then took my period on the 20th october. now ever since the abortion me and my boyfriend have been trying for our own baby. so I'm about 5 to 7 days late on my period and have took 2 pregnancy tests which both come up positive. i dont want any bad replys plz just someone thats maybe went through the same as me or someone that knows to give me some advice as we're getting really excited
p.s- its funny i dont know if its a bit soon though but i dont have sore breasts like i did last time, plus i just knew i was pregnant, this time it feels different, i think im just scared incase im settin myself up fr dissapointment. can anyone help?

I would ssay if you have taken two tests and both came up positive then you are probably pregnant. If you are unsure go to the doctor and have them do a blood test.

ok calm down
your body could still have all the hormones left from the previous pregnancy
please go to the dr

Not judging! But are you sure your previous pregnancy was with the one night stand? Because you had to have been further along than getting pregnant in the middle of September and having the abortion on September 27.

You definitely have pregnancy hormones in your blood: whether or not they are from a new pregnancy or left over from the old one there is no way to tell. You need to go to a doctor.

Also, you should probably wait a few months and let your body get back into its natural rythem before trying again.

Then it would have been your boyfriend's child. Not the one night stand.

You very well could still have hormones in your system from the previous pregnancy. However, the only way to know is to see a doctor.

Good luck.

Am I Prenant?
Not Judging! Sounds like you are very fertile!!! Sounds like you're pregnant to me. After the baby I would get on some form of birth control. If you're young, you're gonna keep on getting pregnant.

listen maybe i didnt explain my story right, but that dosent make a difference, the hospital told me i was 7 weeks pregnant so am only tellin you what they told me. Also thats not the question here the question is am i pregnant after my abortion, who cares what the dates of the abortion was or if i had them mixed up etc... I'm asking people if i could be pregnant, now ive had some decent answers and thankyou for the help some of you have given me! I may only be 24 still young yes but not stupid!

the test results id probably most likely from the hcg levels still being in your body afetr your abortion
but if you have unprotected sex AFTER the abortion then of course yes you could be pregnant

People are paranoid about getting stories straight because we get people on here who are fakes, girls who are just trying to get attention. They can never get a story straight and keep changing their facts.

I understand, but it would be very sick if someone was doing this for attention
Ive never really been on a forum before and just wasnt thinkin clearly when i posted this in the first place being so excited. i also thought it would be easier to talk to people on here as i dont know you and I'm sure theres lots of people out there thats maybe been in my postion that could reasure me.
if there is any sick people out there that would joke about something like this just to get attention then your clearly a lonley sod!!.
Anyway thanx everyone and fingers crossed for my doc's appointment 2moro morning!! x

I'm going to go out here and post something that is NOT BASHING but is truly heartfelt.

I think you need to wait on becoming pregnant. Obviously you have been through a major, major ordeal and you need time to heal emotionally - as well as physically before commiting to another pregnancy.

If you are already pregnant, I hope it goes well. Good luck.

I haven't been in that situation but my sister has. She was 16 when she had her abortion, but was 23 when she got pregnant again. She was POSITIVE the first time she was pregnant, but when she was trying, she wasn't sure until she got the news from the doctors. If you took 2 tests and they BOTH came out positive, then I'm 99.9% sure that you are pregnant. Congratulation, and good luck!
