For many years, since i can remember (basically since puberty), I have had this small hole, as if to a gland, in my ass crack about halfway from the top of the crack to the anus itself. It secretes a weird goo, and occasionally blood with it. The goop smells a bit like concentrated sweat.
I have noticed that if I am hot, or a bit consipated, it secretes a bit when i go for a poo. Regularly I wipe and see the goop still coming out after fulling wiping my anus. I was able to press the area just above it and force it to produce goop, but these days there is less of it. I think it depends on my level of hydration (but I base that on nothing whatsoever.
Any body have any idea what this strange 'gland' might be? I have lately been really wondering how normal it is, and think that no one (even here) will have a clue as to what I am going on about. I also fear the doctor wouldn't give me an answer, but just say it is a thing and to deal with it.
It causes no pain, only discomfort if it secretes a lot at an inconvienient time and I feel it. I am not worried or concerned about it (yet) but i want to know what it could be...
