today was a very very good day
its been 42 degrees and raining. so its all grey and looks like winter outside Smile
me and travis woke up at 12 and i called my mom and she headed over here and her and my step dad got here at 1:30
they stayed about an hour and a half and me and my mom, stepdad, travis and his parents all just sat around and talked and stuff. it was fun. im glad i got to finally spend some time with my mom like that. we are going to try to do that every other weekend or something. but when the baby gets here shes going to be comming over ALOT. like every day for the first week and after that a few times a week which will be awsome.

so travis has been in such a good mood today. he woke up with a good feeling about money. so he and his dad went and bought 26 lottery tickets and 4 scratch off's. and we picked out a bunch of numbers for the lottery tickets for tonights drawing. i won 4 bucks on a scratch off but...thats it so far lol

then at 5:15 we went to dinner at this mexican restraunt Smile

so yeah thats pretty much been my day. im just really happy i got to see my mom today.

That's great you got to spend some time with your mom! As much as my mom & I bicker & fight constantly I think I'd go crazy if she lived more than a half hour away!

I don't know if I missed this somewhere along the line, but can I ask why you don't live with your mom?

Edited to add* You obviously don't have to answer that if you don't want too, I was just curious is all!

well alot happened after my mom and my dad got divorced...things got pretty bad. it was a spur of the moment thing. and our whole family kinda fell apart.
after me and trav started dateing (about a month after) i started comming over to travis house and staying for a night at a time. then i started to stay for days at a time. finally i just...told my mom i wanted to come live with travis. i didnt want to be far away from him. i wasnt happy at home anymore. it was alot of things combined tht made me want to leave. the divorce,BS with school, alot of stuff.
my mom was devestated and didnt want me to leave
she cried for weeks and weeks. and i didnt realize how much it would hurt to be away from her. i was in the whole "oh i wanna move in with my bf" state of mind. i was stubborn. and finally she gave up trying to make me stay. it was hurting her really bad to know that i wanted to leave and be here instead of there. she told me that as long as i continued my education someway then i could stay here. so i enrolled in homeschooling with travis.
i dont really regret moving in with him...but i miss my family alot. thats the hardest part.

me and trav used to go over there all the time. we used to go atleast 3-4 times a week to my moms to see her and my family. then after his whole car thing it got hard to go see them. so...yeah
my mom lives a retty good ways away from us which is the hardest part.
i think after the baby is born our families will definately come together even more.

i hope so atleast. because i need my mom.

Sorry to hear all that Sad I hope when the baby gets here you'll see more of your mom! They're good to have around when you're a first time mommy!

me and my mom and travis mom are going to try and do a girls day out once a month after the baby is born. Smile well not right away lol but maybe a few months after shes born we can start doing that. so we get to have time alone as just "the girls" to do whatever. i think that would be a cool idea!

Well Suzy I can definitely say that you are a very strong 16 yr old......most girls your age would never be able to be pregnant and not have their moms around all the time. Heck......I am 30 and I would go crazy without my mom. She doesn't babysit or anything but we always go out do things together.

I am sure that once Kristen is here she really won't be able to stay away. The fact that you are becoming a mom and will need your mom will make your relationship stronger Smile
