Q: Stopping Ultram

I have been taking ultram for a couple of years off and on. I have been taking 50mg, 2-3 times a day. I ran out and just want to stop taking them all together. I originally took them for osteoarthritis, but do not want to take pills anymore. It's been 2 days and I feel ok, a little achy and anxious. Can anyone tell me what I might expect?

I can tell you that you may relapse and you should never stop a medication except under the strick supervision of you doctor.

Agreed. You can detox, if neccessary, at a local detoxification center. Do you know how to find one?

Rooted, It has been a week and I am fine. I am tired, but feel much better than I did. Maybe because I was only taking 2-3 50mg pills a day. Now, I need to go back to AA meetings to keep myself on track. Once an addict always an addict, no matter what substance we are taking. Thanks for your support!
