Q: Tingling,throbbing In Left Arm

Hi, i'm new to this forum and have not been a member of any forum. I have been having shooting pains in my left arm for a week now with some tingling and numbness. I started feeling it after about a 6 hour drive and thought it might be from having my arm in one position on the steering wheel. This morning I woke up and the inner part of my bicep on that arm is throbbing like crazy. Just wondering if anyone might have some suggestions as to what it could be.

Tingling,throbbing In Left Arm
Hi,

Although this post is a few years old, I was wondering if you ever discovered what might have been causing those numbness issues. I am experiencing the exact same symptoms in my right arm. Pain is constant and shoots all the way to my shoulder. It started just after a long trip in the car as well. It has been 4 days thus far with no improvement.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

RE: TINGLING IN RIGHT ARM & HEAVINESS
IF YOU EXPERIENCE THROBBING AND TINGLING IN YOUR RIGHT ARM, WHERE YOUR ARM FEELS REALLY HEAVY ALMOST DEAD-LIKE, AND HARD TO LIFE, AND FEEL SHORTNESS OF BREATH, LIKE YOUR CHEST GOT A SUNKEN FEELING AND HEAVINESS, THIS IS CAUSE FOR ALARM...NOT FOR A HEART ATTACK, BUT FOR A LUNG COLLAPSE. Sorry about the caps. The symptoms feel like a heart attack, but if it's the right arm it's the lungs. I've had several lung collapses. When it's the left arm it's the heart. The tingling is cause by lack of oxygen.... tingling IS NOT GOOD! On the onset of a lung collape on all occasions the tingling started and lasted anywhere from about 15 to half or maybe even an hour before my lung collapsed. So... let that be a lesson not to wait. And maybe I should take my own advice as i sit here wondering why my left arm feels so heavy and tingly.
