well since i'm asian, i get the "asian glow" when i drink alcohol. I've heard from a few friends that if you take one, it'll prevent redness from occurring. so i have taken a few heart relief pills (pepcid ac) and yes it does work. but my question is there a health risk in taking these pills? thanks.

Are you talking tums or other antacids? I don't think there is a problem with mixing them with alcohol. I have never heard of it taking out the "glow"

no i'm not taking anything else. yeah i never heard of it until my friend told me about it. i tried it and it works but you'd have to take it about an hour before drinking.

There's no harm in simple antacids like pepcid.
