I am 26 and have the following symptomps:

- need to go to the bathroom every 2 hours
- foamy and very smelly urine
- severe pack pain
- pain in the lower stomach
- nausea
- frequent urgency to urinate sometimes is substitued by not being able to empty the bladder at once /takes me usually 4-5 minutes/
- slight itching feeling

My question is :
Are these signes of UTI since I already had one several months ago or are they already sympomps of kidney disease/possible kindey failure?

I think it might be a UTI, do you have pain urinating?
If you start seeing blood in your urine go to the dr, those symptoms could be a sign there is something wrong with your kidney, but its hard to know what it is for sure. Either way, i would go to the Dr, and have them do a test so you can find out sooner rather than later what it is.

Good luck, and happy turkey day!

I am 17 and I get kidney infections all the time because of an illness from years ago. Those are the exact same signs that I have when I get a kidney infection. Just a week ago I had both a UTI and a kidney infection. I have had a child and the pain from these infections are worse than labor!

Thanks a lot for all the answers.
I am just back from the doctor, they did a urine test, and to my utter surprise send me away saying "you don`t have an infection! "
Which is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE, since I have so much pain in my back and waist, that I haven`t slept for three nights already. I am going so often to the bathroom, and the smell of the urine is really heavy. I have a metal taste in my mouth, nausea, itchy sensation, either can`t hold the urine or can`t squeeze a drop.
I am really confused. Shall I ask for a second opition. I absolutely can`t believe there is nothing wrong. And I have already have one UTI. I am just afraid that the infection can spread to the kidneys. But on the other hand - can a test be wrong?
